A jewel in the Atlantic Ocean, Noirmoutier is an authentic, unspoilt island that leaves no one indifferent!

Getting there couldn’t be easier! Take the majestic bridge or the famous Passage du Gois, the island’s real attraction. Thanks to this 4-kilometer submersible causeway linking the island to the mainland, Noirmoutier is alternately an island at high tide and a peninsula at low tide. At low tide, the Passage du Gois is uncovered twice a day, making the roadway passable for visitors and fishermen alike.
